Prassthanam actor Satyajeet Dubey announced the death of his co-star, actor Tejas D Parvatkar, on his Instagram profile on Wednesday. Satyajeet Dubey shared a photo of Mr. Parvatkar, with whom he filmed the next detective web-series Newspapers from Mumbai 26/11, and wrote: “I lost another co-star / friend today – Tejas D Parvatkar. A sweet soul, a guy who constantly talked about his love for literature and his Parla East stories, plays of theater and theaters, a big fan of PL Deshpande (a writer and actor Marathi). I met him on the sets of Mumbai Diaries, but he has not yet been released on Amazon Prime Video. used to relax in this room called “actors’ lounge” built on the set because the vans were a bit far … and dheere se awaz aati thi, ‘Dubey saab, ahi shot mein time hai, chalo chai sutta break lete hain. ‘We will miss you, my brother. Rest in peace.”
Tejas D Parvatkar was also part of director Nikkhil Advani’s web series Mumbai Diaries 26/11, which is based on the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The series, which also stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, will soon be broadcast on Prime Video.
Tejas D Parvatkar was known for his performance in the 2012 film Mumbai Cha Raja, directed by Manjeet Singh. He also appeared in the 2004 film Hava Aney Dey and the film 2014 Sunrise, both headed by Partho Sen-Gupta. Tejas D Parvatkar was also casting director of the 2005 film by Irrfan Khan Return to Dubai.
