One day after actor Aamir Khan revealed that his staff were positive for COVID-19, he shared an update on the health of his mother Zeenat Hussain, whose COVID-19 test was pending. Aamir wrote in his tweet Wednesday that his mother had a negative test for COVID-19 and thanked his supporters for sending positive vibes and messages of concern. “Hello everyone, I am very relieved to inform everyone that Ammi is negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. Love. A,” read Aamir’s tweet. On Tuesday afternoon, Aamir wrote that he was taking his mother for a coronavirus test when he posted the tweet. He added that the rest of his family members, including himself, were negative.

Aamir’s tweet on Tuesday said that staff members who tested positive were immediately quarantined at a medical facility, after which his apartment complex was disinfected by the BMC: “It’s to let you know that some of my employees tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and the BMC officials were very quick and efficient in getting them to a medical facility. I want to thank the BMC for doing so well took care of them, and for fumigating and sterilizing all of society. “
“Right now, I’m taking my mom for a test. She’s the last person in the loop. Please pray that she’s negative,” added Aamir in his post. He also thanked the medical team at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for their support.
