A 6.1 magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday morning near Jakarta, Indonesia, according to the National Indian Seismology Center.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 421 km east (E) of Jakarta, Indonesia, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 4 h 24 min 46 s IST at a depth of 540 km from the surface.
