New Delhi:
India has more than 4.25 cases of coronavirus lakh, recording the largest single-day jump of 445 deaths amid renewed concerns over the rapid increase in new infections in the country.
The increase in the number of cases brought the country’s total to 4,25,282 while the number of deaths rose to 13,699, according to data from the Union’s Ministry of Health.
However, there has been a steady improvement in the recovery rate with 55.77 percent of COVID-10 patients declared free of virus. The number of recoveries amounted to 2.37 196.
India has the fourth highest number of coronavirus cases among the 10 countries most affected by coronavirus.
