New Delhi:

A 26-year-old man was arrested and a youth was arrested in the Dabri region of west Delhi for allegedly killing a member of a rival group in May, police said on Saturday.

Police said three people opened fire on Gaurav and Vicky on May 20 to establish their supremacy in the region.

Gaurav was killed, while partner Vicky was shot in the attack, police said.

Vicky spoke to police about the accused, after which one of the three men was arrested on May 29.

Gulfam was arrested near Dada Dev hospital. During the interrogation, he spoke to the police about his two associates – Nitish Tiwari and a young man.

Gulfam said he had met Nitish Tiwari in a prison who asked him to kill Vicky and Gaurav for 1 lakh Rs, said Deputy Police Commissioner (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse.

Police reportedly set up a trap near JJ Colony in Bindapur in Delhi on Friday around 9 p.m. and arrested Nitish Tiwari, he said.

The minor was also arrested in connection with the case, added Mr. Alphonse.
