One person was killed while three others were injured after a car hit a tree on Ghodbunder Road in Thane on Saturday, police said.
Police personnel from Kapurbawdi, the Regional Disaster Management Unit (RDMC) and firefighters rushed to the site with a fire pump and a rescue vehicle.
The incident occurred near the Vihang Hotel in the Kapurbawadi area, according to RDMC, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
